NZ's Best Hazy Pale Ale is Officially on Vacation!

We just got back from a whirlwind trip to Ōtautahi Christchurch for the New Zealand Beer Awards - our first time ever entering - and safe to say, we’re still buzzing.

The Brewers Guild put on an epic night. From brewers and customers, through to suppliers and growers, it was great to catch up with so many familiar faces from across the country. Thanks to everyone who shared a pint or two with us and made it such a great night.

Now for the part we didn’t quite expect… We entered 8 beers, and 7 of them picked up medals. Not bad for our first crack.

The big one? Vacation Hazy Pale Ale took out Best in Class for Juicy/Hazy Pale Ale - a stacked category with 57 entries. Safe to say we’re pretty chuffed with that result.

We feel honoured to be among such good company, the quality of beer coming out of Aotearoa right now is unreal. Huge props to our brewing team, who put in the hard yards week after week to keep the good stuff flowing. It’s bloody awesome to see that effort get some well-earned recognition.
