New Beer Drop: Punk Rat

This one’s not here to play it safe.

Punk Rat is our latest release - a bold, juicy NZ Double IPA brewed with our mates across the ditch at Pirate Life, created for this year’s NZIPA Challenge.

It poured over the weekend at Smiths Craft Beer, made some serious noise, and landed as a finalist in the 2025 competition. Not bad for a beer that doesn’t follow the rules.

Sitting at 8%, Punk Rat hits with passionfruit, red berry, and lime on the nose. It pours pale straw with a fluffy white head and finishes crisp and bitter - built for hop-lovers, bar-top dwellers, and anyone with a taste for something a little wilder.
